April 6, 2023 (Newark, DE): Lang Cares and Lang Development were proud to sponsor the inaugural Newark Historical Society Founders Day 5K on Saturday, April 1st in Newark. The funds raised from the race will help support the renovation of the historic Newark Train Station. Even with the inclement weather, the event was still a big success.

​The Newark Historical Society was formed in the fall of 1981, after a small group of Newark residents, business people, professionals, educators, and students decided that such an organization was desirable in order “to preserve and celebrate Newark’s past.” The Newark Historical Society’s area of focus includes the people, places and events that have shaped Newark’s history.
