Lang Cares Foundation Awards Scholarships to Five Future Community Leaders

The Lang Cares Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of our 2025 Future Community Leaders Scholarship—a one-time award granted to five outstanding local students who exemplify excellence both in and out of the classroom.
Each of these students has demonstrated a strong academic record, exceptional leadership, and a deep commitment to service within their communities. They are changemakers, role models, and future leaders who represent the values at the heart of Lang Cares.
Meet our 2025 Scholarship Recipients:
- Cailyn Pan – Charter School of Wilmington
- Josh Hevelow – Newark Charter School
- Kate Ambrose – Newark Charter School
- Mia Carew – Newark High School
- Ava Smoak – Newark High School
These scholarships are intended to support their educational journeys and ease the financial burdens of pursuing higher education. Whether they are heading to college with dreams of becoming doctors, educators, scientists, or community advocates, we are proud to stand behind them.
At Lang Cares, we believe in the power of young people to shape a better tomorrow. Through this scholarship program, we aim to encourage students who not only excel academically but also give back through meaningful volunteer work and community involvement.
To our 2025 scholarship winners—congratulations! We are honored to be a part of your story and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.
