May 15, 2023 (Newark, Delaware): Lang Cares awarded the third annual Lang Cares Foundation Scholarship for Future Community Leaders at Newark Charter High School to two seniors, Cassidy Lawhorn and Krish Shajpaul. Cassidy and Krish received the one-time scholarship in the amount of $2,500 to be used for their future college expenses.

Lang Cares is honored to present this scholarship to both of these highly qualified students who have shown extreme success both in and out of the classroom. Cassidy and Krish are also heavily involved in their local community through volunteering their time and efforts at numerous organizations.
